Sabbath Week

This week is, joyfully, our Sabbath Week. The kids and I have been waiting for this school break since our last school break six week ago. Our last Sabbath Week was such a time of rejuvenation that I could hardly wait for the next break week. Sadly, though, I don’t think this week is going to mirror the break week of before. This week is looking to be a busy one.

Monday is the day when Tessa’s friend comes over for a visit.

Tuesday is the return of Emma’s 4H horse club.

Wednesday is our weekly road trip to see Tessa’s reading therapist.

Thursday is bible study night for Emma. We will be able to stay home during the day, though.

Friday sees youth group for Caleb. Again, we get to stay home during the day but I find just having the knowledge that we need to leave in a few hours puts stress on our stay home time and the day just isn’t the same when we get to stay home for the entire day.

I am hoping to get some work done on my bedroom this week. It has become a catch-all for all of the new books that come into this house. Simply said, wherever you look in this room there is a pile of books. Need to do something about that. Ahem.

Our week off from AO was necessary to fit in everything else going on! But the rain has already cancelled one event and maybe another one if it doesn’t go away in time…so we may do some school anyway ๐Ÿ™‚

    • As it turned out, my daughter’s horse lesson was cancelled today due to snow. So we were able to stay home today. She was disappointed but, secretly, I was relieved. ๐Ÿ™‚ I do like it when the weather changes our plans.
